SUNFLOWER

I saw this sunflower on Lauren Meader's blog today and just had to try it. I love sunflowers. I just got the large round scallop set of nestabilities this week and thought it would be a great way to break them in. Lauren made a cute basket. I just made a card. You just cut each scallop down toward the center.
I sponged close to cocoa around the edges for some dept. I used the crimped on my leaves that I just cut out by hand. The center circle has been stamped with the polka dot stamp. The Thanks was stamped on the word window and then I attached it to a piece of paper and punched it down smaller on each side. You have to reattach it after the first side to do the second side.

Stamps: Polka dots and petals, Posies for you
Ink: Close to Cocoa and olive pastel
Paper: Dark and light brown, olive green and sunflower yellow
Large Round Nestabilities, circle punches 1" and 3/4", word window punch
Every other circle is attached with a dimensionals

Well I am off to bed. Have to work tomorrow. The weekends just fly by way too fast!!
